Welcome to Adia's Babble Blog!
Here, I will babble a lot. To babble means, to speak in a silly, excitable way; to chatter; to talk enthusiastically and excessively.
I will have a monthly "Babble of the Month" competition, where I will introduce a new word and you have to figure out the meaning. Whoever finds the correct definition first, is the winner. The winner will be entitled to a prize that is relevant to that specific word.
I will be babbling about karate, my future black belt test, my sparring championship competitions, Lakers games, cultural events, Girl Scouts, and much more.
If you had your own blog, what engaging and inspirational subjects would you babble about?
What would you educate or instruct your readers about?
Have fun!
Adia, a.k.a Queen of Babble
(P.S. I would like to thank my teacher, Mrs. Yollis for supporting me on my blog.)

Dear Adia,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on earning your very own blog! You must feel very proud of yourself.
I enjoyed your opening post and I love the idea of having a "Babble of the Month". I look forward to seeing what new words you introduce to us Adia.
At the moment we are on school holidays for all of January. That is because I live in Australia, which is in the southern hemisphere.
During the holidays I have spent time with family and friends, read some books, exercised, been shopping, done the gardening and I've also done some cooking.
I am sure you will be a fantastic blogger and you will learn so much about blogging from Mrs Yollis!
Keep up the great work Adia!
Your friend in Australia,
Miss Jordan
Well done on setting up your first blog. It seems as though you have a lot of topics to "babble" about :-)
ReplyDeleteI have a class blog with my students and we do a lot of sharing about what's happening in our class and what we're learning.
I'm looking forward to reading more of your posts.
@ Iman and Nicolas,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your thoughtful comment!
I really appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Also, thank you for the compliment. I do sure hope that I will have a lot of visitors come and view my blog as well as leaving a comment.
You two boys are such spectacular typists and commenter so maybe if Mrs. Yollis announces blogs again, then you just might be an official blog owner. You never know...
@ AA,
Thanks for your quality comment.
When you wrote that you will be looking forward to visiting my blog and leaving me comments, I agree. I am so excited to have you comment because you are always taking time and you always are leaving such thoughtful compliments.
Thanks!
@ Aunt Dana,
Thank you for your lovely and kind comment.
I do hope I will have a lot of fun on this blog and I think this will be a great learning experience and amazing journey throughout all the years.
Please say hi to the family. Hopefully we can come to Spain one day and visit you.
@ Mrs. Crystal and my dear friend Moraiya,
Thank you for your comment!
I really appreciate your generosity. You are such amazing friends to us because you are always supporting us with absolutely everything.
Please say hi to the rest of the family. On my behalf please tell them that I miss them a lot and I hope soon we can get together.
@ Marsha (Hannah's mom),
Thank you for your comment!
It is so nice of you to leave me a comment! Thanks for the compliment on my Voki. I actually wanted it to look like me. You noticed!
Thank you for helping me with my blog because my mom lost all the notes in the conference. Ha! Ha! Ha! Thanks again!
@ Miss Jordan,
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment!
You really put so much time in your comment and I totally appreciate it.
How hilarious! I can't believe a summer Christmas and a summer vacation in January!
What fascinating things you have done over the holidays. My mom and I usually do that during holidays and sometimes when we find the spare time.
Thank you so much everyone!
Most sincerely,
Adia ★
Dear Adia,
ReplyDeleteI'm a 6th grade teacher at A.E. Wright. I've met your teacher and know she requires a lot of her students. What a great accomplishment! You've earned the right to have your own blog.
I hope you enjoy blogging. I really like the title of your blog and am looking forward to following your babbles.
Ms. Weiss

Hello Adia,
ReplyDeleteYou have made an excellent start to your Blog. I like your Babble idea. I am an Art teacher in Melbourne, Australia who absolutely LOVES blogging and reading other blogs.I have been babbling on about Art and taking lots of photos for the past few years. If I had to choose another topic it would be Genealogy.
I will be showing your Blog to my students when we go back to school in February. We are enjoying our Summer holidays at the moment.
Best Wishes for your blogging future,
Yvonne Osborn
Dear Adia,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on earning your blog. You are a great blogger and you really deserve it.
I love the layout you chose. The chicks are very cute!
I love your monthly competition idea and can't wait to follow it.
You asked what you'd blog about if you had your own blog. Well, apart from the 2KM Blog, I have a blog for teachers called Integrating Technology in the Primary Classroom. This is a blog for teachers and I tell teachers all about the wonderful things you can do with technology and blogging.
I am really looking forward to reading all of your future posts. I bet you will teach me a lot!
Your blogging buddy,
Mrs Morris (Miss McGeady)
Dear Adia,
ReplyDeleteI am proud of you! What a terrific blog you have here! Not only is your blog interesting to look at, but you have great writing on it as well.
I really like your idea of having a monthly word that you will be babbling about! I love learning new words. I'm sure you'll have clever context clues to help us figure out the word's meaning.
You asked about future topics to write about if I had a blog. Well, I do have a blog. It is called Mrs. Yollis’ Classroom Blog. Perhaps you have heard of it. :-) I like to blog about what we are learning. In addition, it is fun to have a repeating post like your monthly word or our Where's Nonno? series.
Happy Blogging!
Your proud teacher,
Mrs. Y♥llis
oh my gosh i can't believe that you have a blog. Me and my mom will write to you. We love you and your blog. Love Alexis G.
ReplyDeleteDear Queen of Babble,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your wonderful blog. I know you wanted it badly and you worked hard to earn it.
The background you chose compliments the name of your blog. It looks like the chicks are babbling! Your Voki looks exactly like you. Good job putting it together.
I am looking forward to participating in the "Babble of the Month" competition. What a brilliant idea!
Your friend,
Hannah★
Dear Adia Joone Golle Gooze Babble Boo!

Your Uncle Goozoo Ali
Adia joonam,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations my beautiful girl on earning your own blog. I'm very proud of you for working so hard to achieve your goal.
That's how it is in life... when you put your mind to it, work hard, be disciplined, and do what you do with honesty and integrity, you'll achieve it.
I can't wait to learn more about blogging through you, my very own instructor. You have to be patient with me. Although I'm a pretty fast learner, I'm not quite as fast as you.
I love the name of your blog, it suits you perfectly. The chicks are super duper cute, bright and cheerful. It makes me smile every time I look at them.
If I had my own blog I would probably babble about the many incredible books I have come across these past few years. The ones that have impacted my thinking and the ones that have touched my heart.
One of the subjects I would be interested to instruct or teach my readers about, if I had my own blog, would be, the importance of exercise, namely Kickboxing and Karate, my most favorite exercises of all.
Also, the importance of faith in God in our lives. Many times we fail to recognize the lacks because we look to the wrong places to find happiness and peace. Now, don't get me started on this subject because as you are well aware, you'll have a difficult time to get me to stop boasting about my Father in Heaven.
Anyways, enough for tonight. We'll babble soon. I love and adore you.
Your proud Mama
Adiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is your little brother, NANA (this is what I call myself). You know how much I love you. I'm very proud of you, sissy. You are my favorite person in this whole wide world and I love you more than you can ever imagine.
I'm so sorry for being such a pain sometimes. You know that I bother you to get your attention. I want you to myself 24/7. I want you to sing for me, dance for me, and entertain me every minute of the day.
Creating your blog took even a little longer because I kept on distracting you. I wanted to play and you wanted to design your blog. I can't believe that you finished it despite of your little monkey, Bobo (me, of course).
I love you Adia.
Your baby brother for life,
Nana (Stefan)
Dear Adia,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you have got your very own blog.
It will so much fun having your own blog.
My hobbies are playing with cousins and playing the piano.
Enjoy your new blog and I hope to revisit you again.
From your pal Bianca down under.
Adia
ReplyDeleteI think the 'Babble of the Month' idea is a great one, that you could keep having people come back all the time to check on the new word. Babbles a great title for a blog too!
Mr Webb and Room 8, Melville Intermediate, Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand.
Dear Adia joon,
ReplyDeleteI would like to tell you how much I love you and I'm proud of you on earning your own blog. You did it!
Congratulations!
I'm very excited to hear your babble stories and more. Have fun with it.
You are my sunshine. I love you more than the whole universe.
I can't wait to buy your published books in the near future. Of course, from Barns & Nobles with my discount card.
You remind me a bit of myself when I was your age. I was able to write, using my imagination. I used to look around my room, and within seconds, come up with an amazing story. The human imagination and our brilliant minds have no limit. Only the sky is the limit to what we can do with our imaginations.
I still sometimes use my imagination with your brother when I pretend to read one of the books for him. You and your mom just give me a look as if to say, "what story are you telling? This book is about a completely different subject." I make up names, change the characters around, and make the stories more interesting and exciting.
When you were little, you always asked me to tell you a story before bedtime. I would ask you to give me your favorite character and, boom, we had a story in no time, with you and I in the stories. EACH of the made-up stories ended with someone's birthday and EVERYBODY ate cake, of course, with you having the biggest piece. We always sang the happy birthday song. You would not go to sleep without it.
You are a great writer and a super lady. Keep up the good work. You are a great example for your little brother, Stefan.
I love you. As you know, dokhtar tallaye baba kiye? Adia!
Lots of xxxooooxxxxoooo
Daddy
@ Adia,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry as I just noticed I made a few mistakes on my comment to you.
You should always proof read your comment and this one time that I didn't I made a few mistakes, so I am very sorry Adia.
From BB.
Dear Adia (Queen of Babble),
ReplyDeleteI think it is safe to say that you have everyone waiting in anticipation for the first "babble of the month." I know I am eager to learn some new words!
I don't have my own blog, but I love blogging through my classroom blog. If I started a blog just for me I think it would be about music and art. I love to draw and paint, and I always listen to music when I do it. So, I could post new paintings that I do and write about the music I was listening to at the time.
I love your ideas for your blog, and I really look forward to following all of your babbles.
From,
Mr. Salsich
Dear Adia (A.K.A. The Queen of Babble),
ReplyDeleteI love your fun, fabulous, fantastic new blog! I'll be checking in periodically.
If I had my own personal blog I would babble about babies babbling...in honor of my new grandson, Nathan!
Love from your former teacher,
Mrs. Chalfin
@ Adia,
ReplyDeleteThank you for commenting back to me!
Also, thank you for the typist compliment, it was very thoughtful. I really hope I get my own blog, because I could do posts about events that will happen or happened. I will tune in to see all of your amazing future posts, because I know that they will be incredible! I will also tune in to see the future comments that I know will be fantastic!
Sincerely,
Im♦n
Dear Queen of Babble,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new babble blog! I love your Voki because I love how it looks a lot like you with the glasses, hair, and face. I like when the curser log is the backround because there are two chicks and they look so cute. I also think that you deserve your blog because you leave great quality comments. I'm looking forward to commenting on your new blog often. You will probably get a lot of visitors from all around the world.
Your doing great on your blog!

Dear Adia,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I really like your blog. I especially like your chicks. They are very cute. Do you think you might want them as pets? Isn't it fun getting all those comments?
I look forward to participating in your word contest. I can't wait to see what the next difficult word you will choose to post.
From,
Miriam
Dear Adia,

Love,
Your friend.
Emily
Dear Ms. Thompson,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your generous comment on my blog!
Yes, that is correct. I will have many topics to babble about.
You have a classroom blog? Wow, that is amazing. I have many memorable moments on the classroom blog that I am in. I absolutely adore classroom blogs because there can be math tutorials or posts about some awards. You can always learn something when you view a classroom blog.
I will stay tuned to read more of your comments!
Sincerely,
The Queen of Babble
Dear Ms. Weiss,
ReplyDeleteIn your comment you wrote that you are a 6th grade teacher at A.E. Wright.
What is the most hardest challenge you face as a 6th grade teacher?
What do you enjoy most about teaching?
Do you have your own classroom blog? If so, how do you like it?
Did you know that I used to play basketball at that school? I remember that the location was nice and clean and it was close to the beach. In the Summer, I went to the beach and we would always pass by your school.
Thank you for your thoughtful compliment! I enjoy the title as well.
I tried really hard to actually find a word that simply means "talk". Whenever you find me at home, I will be talking. Whenever you find me at lunch or recess at school, I am talking. That's why I named myself "Queen of Babble".
Warmest regards,
Queen of Babble =)
Hello Ms. Osborn,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your fantastic comment!
I have never heard of the word genealogy so I thought I should look it up in my Thesaurus. Here is what I found: Genealogy is the line of ancestors from which a person or family has descended or a statement or chart showing this; a family history or a family tree.
This definition reminded me of doing an ancestor doll in 2nd grade. An ancestor doll is a doll that you make out of all your creativity. The clothes have to be cultural. For example, let's say I made a doll and my background was from Russia. I would have to make Russian clothes.
Also, I would like to be an Art Teacher or an Artist when I grow up.
Thank you!
Warmly,
Queen of Babble
Dear Mrs. Morris,
ReplyDeleteThank you for always supporting everybody when they earn a new blog! That is very kind of you.
I love blogging and Skyping with you.
Thank you for your encouragement in your comment. I really appreciate people that say supportive words to give me the confidence to excel in my endeavors.
Your 2KM blog is fantastic and I have heard from many teachers that your teacher's blog is highly stimulating.
Thanks!
The Queen of Babble
Dear Mrs. Yollis,
ReplyDeleteThank you for allowing me to have a blog. I really have gratitude for this blog.
Starting the first day of school, when you explained that a few kids in the class will earn their own blog, I though that this was an incredible idea.
This experience has inspired me to earn my own blog so I worked hard with my comments, and finally after months and months of comments, I earned this blog. Thank you so so so much.
Also thank you for teaching me and the rest of the class how to be safe on the internet, such as not writing your last name.
You have taught me how to be wise and opened up the world of technology to me and the class. I appreciate the meaningful ways you have taught me for educational purposes.
Lastly, thank you for always noticing something good about someone's blog. I could go on and on about my appreciation towards you but that would take hours.
Have a great afternoon!
Your grateful student,
Adia
Congratulations Dear Adia!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful blog you have here.
We are so very proud of you and hope you have a great journey throughout the future.
We love you!

Dear Hannah★,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your stimulating compliments.
I really tried to have a background that actually looks like chicks, babbling! The second I saw that this was one of the choices for backgrounds, I immediately selected it.
I have a feeling that you will do a brilliant job in the "Babble of the Month" competition. You might even win some of the times. You never know...
Your friend,
Adia :-)
Dear Uncle Goozoo Ali,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your positive words! I hope that you will comment a lot and participate in my blog.
If you want, I'll let you be a guest blogger and you can post about your talent with the bars.
Just comment back and give me an answer and maybe we can meet up together and plan this.
See you soon!

Hello Mommy,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your most thoughtful words. I think that is brilliant that if you had a blog, you would educate or instruct your readers about karate.
Maybe one day you yourself will create your own blog and the whole entire thing can be about karate. Wow, would that be so so so interesting because you are just the most amazing writer in the world. Let's go Mommy, let's go!
I hope that you will write many comments on this blog and in addition to that, you learn a lot throughout this wonderful journey in the world of technology.
I am so overjoyed!
You are the most cuddly, lovable mom anyone can ever have.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, MOMMY!

Dear Mr. Webb and Room 8,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the compliment on my title.
I already started my "Babble of the Month" and make sure to look out for my next post that will reveal the first word.
I hope you can revisit my blog!
Adia
Dear Daddy,
ReplyDeleteThank you for encouragement on my blog! You are a brilliant dad.
Just today as you said, you were reading to Stefan and you would just pretend you knew what you were saying, but actually it was just from your imagination.
You have such a big imagination.
I remember that when I was little, on the day of me losing one of my earrings in the pool, you told me a goodnight story and it was about you and I going on a ship, and lost my earring in the ocean.
You jumped in the ocean to get my earring but it was too late, the shark had already eaten it.
While you were underwater, a turtle started talking to you. It said that it was lost and it had lost its mommy. You tried to find the mommy but she was nowhere. All of a sudden a huge turtle popped out a rock.
You had found the turtle!
Now all you had to do was get back to the ship to come with me. So you did.
Then we all went home and we found out that it was obviously someone's birthday. I had the biggest piece and then we all went to bed.
It had been an amazing day.
That was the story. Ha Ha Ha. That was so funny.
Bye.
Love,
Adia
Dear Mr. Salsich,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your positive input on my blog.
You are always supporting everyone when they earn a blog and I really appreciate it.
I think your response to my question, "If you had your own blog, what would you educate or instruct your readers about?" is outstanding. I really agree with you.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on earning your blog! You are a great blogger and always leave very thoughtful comments. I look forward to following your posts as you babble about where you go and what you see. I know you will be a big success among your visitors.
Best,
Victoria (Miriam's mom)
Hello Miriam, and Ms. Victoria!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your thoughtful words.
To answer your questions, Miriam:
Yes, I do love my many comments.
Yes, chicks would be a great pet, but I don't think my mom nor my dad would approve. The only pet we are allowed to have is goldfish. My mom says that two kids and one goldfish are enough for her. So does my dad.
Thanks once again!
Adia
Dear Emily,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely compliment on the chicks!
You are a very supportive friend to have. You are always complimenting me and being so nice to me.
I hope you can revisit my blog soon!

Dear Nicole,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment on my blog!
Thank you for taking the time to actually leave a comment and it is certainly full of quality.
To answer your questions:
My favorite part about earning a blog is that you get to "meet" people from practically the whole entire world.
Yes, I did want to earn a blog on the first day of school when Mrs. Yollis said that she would choose a few people to get a blog.
Warmly,
Adia
Dear Nusha,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment!
You are a really amazing cousin and role model to me and I appreciate it.
Thank you for the compliment on my typing. You are very thoughtful.
Sincerely,
Adia
Dear Adia,
ReplyDeleteIt made me laugh to see your explanation of "babble" and why you picked this name for your blog. You did, indeed, choose well! The chicks are very cute, by the way.
You are such a talented girl. Everything you try (music, writing, karate, etc) you excel in and enjoy. What in the world will you try next?
I look forward to keeping up with your experiences and aventrues on this blog.
I hope to have a lunch for my past students soon but you are always welcome to stop by anytime!
Best wishes,
Mrs. Clebanoff
Dear Mrs. Clebanoff,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your phenomenal comment and many compliments on my blog!
You will become a fantastic blogger as I see it. Great work, Mrs. Clebanoff!
You asked: What in the world will I do next? I might start gymnastics.
Thank you for the compliment on the chicks. I tried to have the background look as if chicks are actually babbling.
I am looking forward to reading your upcoming comments.
Have a stupendous day!
The Queen of Babble
Adia
Hi Adia,
ReplyDeleteI love the humour (<--Cdn spelling) in your blog post. You have definitely found your own writing 'voice' which is light-hearted yet informative. I also like that you invite visitors to interact by posing questions and keeping track of where visitors are from.
Keep on blogging!
@mmeveilleux
PS. You are soo lucky to have 57 comments already!
Dear Babble queen,
ReplyDeleteCongratulation on your new blog. I love the two little chicks on your chatty blog. Do you have names for them? I hope you get some interesting visitors. You worked very hard to earn this fabulous blog. You will meet some people from all over the world. You are a very lucky babbler to get about 55 comments when you just got your own blog! I love the name "Adia's Babble Blog" because it describes you well. You are never nervous and talk when you are supposed to. I think you are very loquacious. Keep up the good work, Babbler.
From,
Ryan
Dear @mmeveilleux,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your compliment about liking my humor!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a quality comment. That is super thoughtful.

Adia : }
Dear Ryan,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment!
My mom and I just looked up what loquacious means and it said talkative. That is super duper relevant to my blog title and myself, I love babbling!
Thank you so much for teaching me and bringing up the word loquacious. I have never ever heard of this word and neither has my mom. It is a great word and I may use that word in some of my posts or/and comments.
I am looking forward to your upcoming comments and new words to teach us!
Warmly,
The Queen of Babble
Adia
Dear Queen of Babble,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations , Queen of Babble , on your Babble Blog ! I would babble about birthdays, holidays , sports , and gymnastics. I would teach how to do a cartwheel, how to make a B-day cake, and how to play handball.
I have a question for you.
* What is sparring?
Warmly,
Ileanna***
Dear Ileanna,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment!
The answer to your question is: Sparring is mostly kickboxing with other people with protective gear such as a shinguard.
Look for one of my future posts about sparring competitions. There will be more detail about what sparring is and the gear.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate your compliments and I love how you took the time to leave a comment on my blog.
See you soon!
Your friend and classmate,
The Queen of Babble
Dear Queen of Babble (AKA Adia),

I have a question.
* Do you have a favorite karate move?
Warmly,
Ileanna***
Dear Babble Queen,
ReplyDeleteSo far I like your blog, and the chicks too. The name really cracks me up. I can't wait to see your next post, I hope it's a good one.

Dear Ileanna,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment!
The answer to your question is: Well, Ileanna, you will just have to hold your horses for the answer to your question on my future post about sparring/karate.
I really appreciate all your comments that you write to me! You are very generous!
Your classmate,
The Queen of Babble
